She has earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Education/Community Health from Texas A&M University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, a Master of Science in Education (Community Health) from Baylor University, a Post-Masters Certificate in Nursing Education from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, and a doctorate in Nursing Education Leadership from University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
